Delivering hot, fresh PR for Britains' favourite Pizza
Working with Domino’s has seen DADA create the first pizza wedding cake, recreate the iconic bed-in scene with John Lennon and Yoko Ono and deliver pizza to a peckish McFly.
A campaign comprising guerilla activity, national promotions with the Scottish Sun and Sunday Herald, through to community PR activity has seen DADA position Domino’s firmly on the radar of the media, and more importantly, Domino’s customers throughout the country.
Through a sustained media campaign coupled with extensive promotional activity, Domino’s Pizza continues to be the leading player in the fast-growing pizza delivery market posting sales of £407m for 2009, an increase of 16% on 2008 and generating extensive media coverage across multiple platforms.
Throughout the year, DADA has continued to champion the hard work Domino’s store managers do in fundraising for charities and organised pizza drops to emergency services on some of the most challenging nights of the year, Bonfire Night and Hogmanay. When the MOBO’s hit Glasgow, Domino’s was on hand to deliver pizzas to the hungry celebrities before popping on stage to pick up their awards.
But this isn’t the first time celebs have requested their favourite tasty treat. McFly has a tendency to test out the Domino’s drivers by ordering a delivery live on stage and then timing their response. Domino’s was on the case and DADA ensured the local media was also there to cover the story.
Thanks to a fiercely local media campaign and sustained regional promotional activity, Domino’s continues to be the number one choice for home pizza delivery.
